John, I'm using an Airmar B60 (raymarine). It's a 600w, and I couldn't be happier. Coming in today I was running 35-40 mph in white cap slop, and I was reading bottom fine. I never lose bottom unless my DSM30 acts up.
Sea Curity did the install. They did a good job on the transducer, but overall their work was average.
