Will do Oscar. I hear you about the shoaling--the south pass is especially bad and tiger pass is a little tight in spots at time--and then there's all the stuff floating in the big river. Just got used to it I guess and have managed to avoid any collisions for the past 10 years. You're right--not much to do in Venice but fish but that's okay with us. We do manage to get to NO and "loose" a little money on all the good food. I'm a big fan of the charbroiled oysters at Drago's. That will be one of the highlights of my upcoming trip in early March since it's a business trip. See you on the water one of these trips!!
