You have got to give Block Island a try, it's a short run from Montauk across Block Island sound. I fished it few ways: 1st was wire line using tube-n-worm, the second was a downrigger trolling a live eel. The most productive was using live bunker or hickory shad for baits. I'd love to get with you to fish it, but the closest I will be is in July when we will be on vacation in RI.
