Yeah I live on Northern Roanoke Island here, keep the boat in a slip in Pirates Cove. In regards to fishing offshore I try to go whenever conditions allow but being at 23' we still have to really watch the forecast. You picked up the 23 with the F350 right, I am jealous must be great to have that hp. Mine is only rigged with a F225 she does ok gives me about a 28 mph cruise which most days is about all the boat will take. They are killing the large BFT now but I don't have any gear capable of landing one of thos brutes..
