Carbon fiber portable center rigger

I fished up until now with a shotgun rig straight out of the TTop. While it's been effective, sometimes the lack of drop back and the difficulty of getting the rod down with a hot fish on has been problematic. I decided to go the portable route with a center rigger so I could run without it while not offshore fishing or cruising

I looked at a number of both aluminum and carbon fiber options but I struggled to find something I liked that wasn't outrageously priced. If any of you guys remember the BLY models, then you know that was a great carbon fiber setup at a great price. I finally found one for about $300US shipped from a private company in Australia.

How long did it take for shipping from Australia?

Is that the straight butt or bent butt model? Cannot tell from pictures.

I have been using one on my 26 for a couple of years and it works really well. It looks just like the one you have posted but I don't think mine came from down under. You will enjoy it.

It’s got the bent butt, not straight.

It took about 2 weeks to ship from down under.

I love Marsh Tacky stuff, have one of their gaffs, but this cost less than half theirs or the Gemlux/Bly models.

It’s been good to me for sure the past year.
