Default Center “wedge” seating for 26FS?

Has anyone added a center wedge seat to the forward seating area of the late model 26FS’s to create a flat cushioned deck up front? Sorry if this has been asked before but I didn’t see anything when I did a search.

A guy on the hull truth did it. He ran some starboard strips about 1" squared on the fwd seat inner walls and fwd wall. Built the cushion bottom out of starboard and covered it with matching cushion. Looked factory.

Default wedge

easy to build using 3/4" starboard. get some cardboard & lay it across the FS were you want wedge and trace it from below. simple jigsaw cut & some 1" starboard strips screwed into the sides of the existing FS to support it. i would highly recommend a gas "table" strut so you can lift it into a table or lower to FS height for a sun pad. i had one on my 27' BW and it was a nice addition for times when you needed a forward table or use as a sunpad
