![]() IMO the 23 has a very level ride that requires very little , if any tab to get a level ride. I think it is one of the best riding 23 foot boats produced.
Ive seen older Formulas , and Seacrafts modified with a bracket , but I couldnt comment on the post modified ride as it compares to before the bracket. I have had the opportunity to ride a few bracketed boats. They all had a bow high riding attitude , which some owners had gone to length to correct. If it was me , and a wave gate wasnt enough , Id look for a boat that was originally engineered to have a closed transom. |

![]() Chris is right on. If you want a bracketed 23, get a 26!
Many of the bracketed 23 seacrafts had lead ballast added to the bow and required much larger tabs to account for the bracket, especially if they didn't go with a full floatation bracket. I don't know one detail about this rig, but this picture was forwarded to me from a friend. Not sure what the reasoning behind this was. ![]()
