Default Winter 2020/2021 projects - what’s on your list?

It’s that time a year again for us up north. Winter down time.

What’s on your list of projects this winter?
  1. My winter 2020/2021 list

100% will do list

Rhodan install w/ AC/DC stealth 1 charger

Relocated nav lights to rub-rail if needed

Remove cooler seat and make room for 1 36v battery and 2 12v batteries to gain more console dry storage.

Rewire entire console. Remove, inspect, replace, and organize the birds nest that is in my console

Replace house battery (cranking is new as of July 2019)

Add second bilge pump

Replace tubing from pump to SW washdown spigot (multiple splices right now)

Create a better drain system for bottom of live well. Most likely some
pVC pipe to raise drain off the bottom to eliminate constant blockage from fish scales

Figure out someway to get the shower drains to drain faster, especially when blood/slime is on deck.

If time and money allows :

Upgrade to B175 transducer

Purchase Garmin g3 vision charting or upgraded charting via tablet (Garmin blocks most non Garmin brands)

Add better tackle tray storage, maybe on side of console via BoatOutfitters

Well we sold our 26 and upgraded to a 32. The list is HUGE right now, but I am slowly picking away.
Flush mount electronics, fix my own birds nest of wiring, add a larger switch panel, fix all the hinges and stripped screws, replace multiple pieces of starboard frames that are cracked, replace AP to Garmin, New Icom radios, move AM/FM to upper electrical box, replace every light on the boat with LED, add additional transducers, replace a few gas shocks, and replace the 350s that are too big for the boat with 300s...... I think that is a start for me.... I may have forgot a few things. But I have got a lot done so far. I will start my own post because I might hi jack yours....

Thank you. I am doing the 16 spot rocker switch plate setup from new wire. Needed to add a few more switches in.

After looking at the last winter projects thread, I apparently was ambitious in spirit and unmotivated in reality.

So my wish list is as follows:
1. Replace the under-gunwale red LEDs with a color more pleasing visually and include a modulator with the install to control brightness.

2. Install 2 additional mate-series cup/rod holders in the bow.

3. Replace the broken controller dial on my Raymarine C140W screen. Appears the only solution is to procure a 3D printed replacement from a group in Canada. Approved by and referred to by Raymarine. $200. Ugh.

I'll leave it at that for now.

The Lumitecs offer a few different color combinations along with the full spectrum of color. Also brightness level is controlled. All thru a factory standard rocker switch. Only downside is they are on the more expensive side. I just did 8 12" rail 2 lights with the white/red/blue color choices. I had them on our 26 and was very happy with them.

Any chance you can get the STL file or Gcode file for the part? I can probably print it for you if you can.

I'm thinking not given that it's probably someone's IP. I can send a request to the company though for what that's worth. I appreciate the offer. Who knows maybe they will send it. What was a $50 OEM part from Raymarine is now $200 from these folks.
