2011 LIBT Tournament
Any other members fishing the libt tomorrow? I am lucky to be fishing on the LeftHook again this year. Freshwater girl will be one of the anglers for a 2nd year in a row. Always a good time for a good cause.

Man that was some tough fishing! Put over 120 miles on the boat without a knockdown. The fished must have moved off to the north... water ugly bluefish water but 72 degrees... to big for slammers most times. We saw a ocean sunfish and schools of flying fish.. thats not a good sign for slammer blues. The tournament is for a great cause! Thanks again Don!

120 miles? That is a great effort AJ, nice job! I told my wife about this tournement last year and although it is for a great cause, she didn't want to kill any fish we weren't going to eat. We went down to the marina on sat (Seaview Harbor) to do some work and hit the pool, and we saw a SJ Food bank truck parked by the weigh in tables. When my wife found out you could donate the fish to the food bank she turned to me and said "Dude, we're doing this next year!" I read they raised about $50,000!

NO way would I go 120 miles for a stinkin' bluefish! We did put a ton of miles on though... We should have stuck with the covert plan of taking the girls tuna fishing instead.......
