Can't wait to see the performance numbers. What is the max hp rating on those 24's?

What did you have on it before?

Wow the boat should fly mine has 200 Opti's and it does 50 MPH how much faster you need to go ? Interesting to see fuel #'s on the 225's.

OP I see that you put rod holders in the "Top of the Transom" door I was thinking of doing that and one in other side compartment. How has that worked out? I was thinking that or a SeaSucker in the middle between the engines.

Anyone know any performance numbers on twin 175 Suzuki's?

Hopefully it flies, don't need to go that fast but they had a set of 225 and I had to go for it. I considered suzuki df200a's but did not want to go from v6 HPDI's to the four cylinder motors. I do very heavy long runs and want a fast efficient cruise

Rod holders on transom door have worked awesome, very good use of otherwise wasted space

Max HP is 400 but insurance company is fine with it since it's the same motor as the merc v6 200

Wil shaper perf #s hopefully next week

That's awesome good for you those engines should be great on that boat. Where do you usually fish? I'm kind of the opposite with my 24 LI Sound then offshore a bit, that's why I was thinking the 175's for me eventually as they weigh about the same as the old HPDI's, very fuel efficient and lower in cost to buy. I'd give up top end for that the lower fuel and newer technology.

Iím from Puerto Rico, we fish in tough choppy seas. Iím sure the suzuki df200ís would be great for your application! Almost bought those myself but got a good deal on the mercs
