Default Core Sample from transducer install

Here's a picture of the layup on my 2008 26fs. 1/2" of fiberglass on the outside, 1/2" of filler and a 1/4" of fiberglass on the inside. Anyone know what this filler is? It scratches pretty easy but seems solid

it is the polybond between the bilge pan (which is part of the stringer/grillage), and the outer hull. It is basically what bonds/glues the grillage to the hull

I would have guessed the fit would be tighter than that, thanks for the information.
