Rudder - the reposer looks sweet - I have a 2005 with 05 250s - do you know if your new 250s are lighter than your old 225s?

I do man they are 568 hp at the prob and about 50 pounds lighter a piece roughly. Old 225s were rated at 208 at the prop. Should be fun
Seal trial saw 61-62 mph

got it - thanks for the info - I only have 850 hours on my 2005 250s so I should have plenty of life left in mind - I spoke the reg guys at the NYC boat show and they said if I were to repower that they would recommend going with the inline 200s - they said that they are much lighter than new 250s and obviously they are more fuel efficient - they also said that the new 200s have plenty torque to get you to of the hole - they basically were saying all that you lose with the 200s is top end speed - but I basically only fish in the ocean and really never go over 40 mph - so it got me thinking a little a nit - I also feel that my current 250s have my scuppers practically underwater at full load

With all that being said, I still would prefer to have new 250s

Did you price out 250s vs 200s? Did you eve consider 200s?

Never considered it as i primarily fish the boat in the ocean and just feel 200s just arenít enough for me running mostly to the canyons plus they say the new 250s are super fuel efficient. Itís a heavy boat fuel of ice and fuel running 70 miles or so. Just my 2 cents
