Default 29 Regulator Repower w/Suzuki's

Looks like I'm going to repower my 2006 29 regulator FS with new 300 Suzuki's. Currently have the Yamaha F250s. Has anyone else done that ? If so, any info concerning props, performance, installation problems etc would be greatly appreciated. Plan on getting them hung next week. Thanks

Call Ken at PropGods. Four blade will dramatically improve the ride. The 300s will get you much more speed than the 250s...so giving up a few MPH at top end to stop that annoying porpoising is worth it.

I went four blade on my 26 and would never go back. The harder I run, the better it performs too. When I move up to the 28 or larger, it will also get the 4 blade...

good luck.

Buddy of mine just did the same exact swap a few weeks ago, went with Mercury Enertia Eco's 22's. You have to mount the Suzukis a little lower than yamahas though.

Got the 300suzkis installed. Guy in South Carolina beat local guy by $6500. Got 50 knots wife open. But I'm kind of in a dilemma. Guy said he had to mount engines in top hole due to proposing at high speed. But that puts the engines trim seal on the water and I keep the boat in the water. Umm going to raise it one bolt hole and see what happens. Running the stock 16x20 and taping out at 6200
