I have a Simrad RPU80 with twin steering...

I have a Simrad RPU80 with twin steering cylinders and 300 Zukes. Same pump when I had 250's and one cylinder. Works well but I would not recommend twins as it takes twice as many turns of the wheel...

I had mine rewired last year but no pics. If you are not currently using the Yamaha auxiliary power leads I would highly recommend them for the house batteries. No need for a VSR.

Carry extra oil and gas filters, oil, plugs, props and or hubs....

The first 3 characters of the HIN should be DJI not DJ1. I only mention this as the broker registered my boat using DJ1 and the state eventually caught the wrong format and...

I don't think you will see any MPG increase with 300's. My Zukes were less than $200 total over the 250's so it was really a no brainer for me. Not sure the price difference for the Yamaha's....

Anything in the 1/2 ton class will be fine. Whether it is a Denaili or a rust bucket doesn't matter with the short distance you are going. I have about 15,000 miles pulling my 26 with a GMC 1/2 ton...

Edit: The power side is unswitched and comes from the panel. The other wire goes to the pump and joins the switched wire...
