would you mind telling me what props you have on your 32 with the G2's? I am putting 200 HO on my 26 Regulator and trying to figure out prop pitch.
    Thanks!

Tim, I am looking pretty hard at a pair of G2 300s with about 400 hours for my 32 classic. From what I have seen on here, you have the same setup, correct? If so, I would love to talk to you about this setup. Thanks.

Shoot me an email or a PM about the riggers.
Would like to get close to $300 for the pair. I have some extra hardware for them too.

I talked to my mechanic about the 250 vs 300 gear ratio. He said they are different. Also not sure you knew the diameter of the powertech props are 15.25" and the Rev 4's are 14 5/8". Which is why PT recomended that I try a 16 pitch. They sent 17's by mistake. That works out fine since I wanted to see if the PT 17 would give me a 5600rpm at WOT. I run light most of the time and they may give me better cruising speed. Hopefully the weather will work out this week like they say and I'll get to try them out.

Absolutely. Terry Laster, Tony Laster? Justin Little, Jason Connell, Ed. Any of those ring a bell?

T, I see you are from Mobile. I am originally from Theodore. We have to know some of the same people.

T, I found that the boat required much less tab to keep bow down, and I felt it rode considerably higher in the water. Overall, I think the economy improved, but I don't have documentation on full load. Given the chance again, I would buy them again.

We didn't have any problems with out HPDI's. They ran well and got the job done. They used oil, and a good bit of it. They were loud compared to 4 strokes, but I never had an ounce of problem from them. Our shifter cables stiffened, and one would idle a little higher because of primarily that, but they ran well. Make sure you are propped down to handle the load the 32 is, and you should be fine. I think we have about 800 hrs on ours. The boat is being repowered simply because they can afford to do it and make all the upgrades. In the end this route is still waaay cheaper than a new hull.
